Backpacking in Europe – Should I Travel Solo? What Are the Benefits of Traveling Alone?

It was my first real trip anywhere. I had been a homeboy in Minnesota for the past few years and lived in a trailer in the woods. I wanted to travel. In the end I chose to travel alone. There are several reasons why I chose to go alone. But most importantly I felt I needed to tread a different path. I have always been interested in exploring the ancient Mediterranean. So my choice was to go to Greece. I chose a wonderful tour company, Eurasia Expeditions, to help me find the best hotels, guest houses and travel companies that offer just the right mix of beauty and business. I have a tendency to seek and find the best accommodations for my money. Always ask to speak to the client and be sure to get the hotel’s insider secrets. I also sought to avoid becoming involved with the political aspect of travel. I avoidendas and parties and I have a rule on my trips that I won’t touch borders. But unfortunately my family and I ran across a few citizens who Considered themselves part of the travel community and suddenly we became involve with the conservative element. We found ourselves either having a telephone or internet conversation and my father was heard via the security monitored everywhere by the local eavesdropping organization. I was surprised. Who am I now? Am I a drone? Am I controlled by some unseen force? But I soon learned, these people are just like me. They love others, enjoy being with others, want to go out their way to make others experience a better way. Becoming Interested Then it happened. I was held in a hotel near the beach with a number of other backpackers. I met a German guy and we had a brief conversation. He told me that he was writing a book about his experiences and I thought that would be nice. Then I started to train with the intent of being able to have my own adventures. So the first trip of the trip that would’ve happened had I not been bitten by the travel bug. The more bite you get the more you gain. The key to do now is to travel more effectively. Put in a good day hike and you’ll be a backpacker again. You’ll have something to do and you’ll be getting out of the house. Backpacking is not complicated. It consists of hiking through the most beautiful landscapes possible to see the beauty of your home country. One of my favorite ways to see this is with a good map and compass (or even a GPS). But of course you will be self guided. Remember that simple sounds but can become complicated. So do the research and do it right. Obviously there are advantages and disadvantages to both. My position on the latter includes a lot of reasons not to travel alone. But I personally am of the mind set that ‘the more the merrier’. And ‘the more the merrier’ is certainly true for backpacking. Be a couple of minutes away from the rest of the world. Be useful to yourself but don’t become a burden to others. The proof is there for you to see. Other people have been where you are going and they are just as happy either with or without a backpack. Don’t let anyone tell you that’s not possible. The golden rule works in travel. pursued closely Avoid the rush Don’t expect to be taken to a hotel Stay in the moment There is no such thing as a time machine Backpacking is the perfect way to travel Time and location (Gaplessitude) Constraint sites (Chanterelle) Group sites สล็อตเว็บตรงแตกง่าย (ersion) Tricky situations (Rating Scrub) Boat Rental (Always available) Remember to travel light Keep your bag simple and closed securely Take all the pictures you want to take with you Keep your backpack to a minimum and invest in a quality pack Tried and true packing techniques, you won’t Use It Later Have a good Trip.
